“I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this Universe, we are in this Universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the Universe is in us. When I reflect on that fact, I look up—many people feel small, because they’re small and the Universe is big, but I feel big, because my atoms came from those stars.”
― Neil deGrasse Tyson
Looking up, there is nothing between us and the rest of the universe. Yet, thanks to our environment, and even the intervention of the proverbial ball of gas burning light years away, we are able to see incredible beauty above us instead. How often do we stop to appreciate what it really is?

"I used to fight the pain, but recently this became clear to me: pain is not my enemy; it is my call to greatness." - Henry Rollins
Taken during a dark period in my life, this was a positive moment for me. I took a minute to myself to engage not only in a little body positivity (is this even a word?), but also to gather my strength because falling down and giving in to grief was not an option. To some this image could only be seen as sexual/sensual, as it is my quite nude self, and yet it couldn't be further away from that. This is an acknowledgement that I am an amazing woman, and I took that particular moment in time to acknowledge it - even if only to myself.
